To all of our members in the Jackson Lacrosse Club,
The Jackson Lacrosse Club will be holding our 2014 Elections on Saturday, October 11, 2014. It will be held at the Jackson Orthodontist Office at 156 W Veterans Hwy from 9 am to 11:30 am. The positions that need to be filled are the following and will be for a two-year term.
President, Treasurer, Girls Commissioner, Trustee 1, Fundraiser
The following positions will also need to be filled but for one-year only. They are:
Secretary, Boys Commissioner, Trustee 2
As a club, we rely on members to take that extra step and help run the club. Without people stepping up to fill in these positions, it puts a heavy burden on Board Members who have to do more than one position. Believe me, it can be very demanding. When all these board positions are filled, the club will run more efficient.
If you would be willing to step up and join the Board, please send me a letter stating the desired position and a paragraph or 2 about whom you are and how the Club would benefit with you in that position by Friday, October 3, 2014. I will attach the responsibilities of each position along with this letter. Again, I ask you if you have ever thought about holding a position in the Club to please step up and run for a position. Should anyone have any questions about a position to please reach out to me so I can answer any questions you may have.
Any parents who had a player in the 2014 spring season will be eligible to cast a vote. Also if you are a Coach with no player in the program, you will be allowed to cast your vote.

Thank you,
Chuck Straniero
President

Welcome to Jackson Lacrosse Club

The Jackson Pride Lacrosse Club was founded in 2002 in order to serve the youth of Jackson, NJ. This volunteer run, community based lacrosse club, aims to teach boys and girls from kindergarten to eigth grade the sport of lacrosse.

The mission of Jackson Pride is to stress teamwork and sportsmanship through friendly competition. Our typical season begins in March with practice and ends in June. Jackson Pride offers you the opportunity to increase your skill level and knowledge of the sport of lacrosse. Don't worry if you don't have experience, as all levels of ability are welcome!

The club also hosts a very successful annual tournament with participanting teams coming from New Jersey and many surrounding states.

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.
